Now I love the WP8 start screen
Okay, when it was first unveiled I hated it - and I wasn't alone. I thought it was ugly and Android/iOS-y. I thought it looked confusing, hard to manage and not as minimalistic as WP7.
But now I love it. My WP7 phone feels kind of boring having had so much exposure to promotional images with the WP8 start screen.
The WP8/7.8 start looks really smart and exciting and attractive than 7. This could help WP sales.
I still have reservations about how it's managed - I hate the arrow underneath the tile and think it should be done more like tile re-sizing on Windows 8. But on the whole I love it.
Anybody else had a change of heart?
