Nokia's NYC evening event
So I Attended Nokia's event last night and light me first say It was Awesome! There with free drink and hors d'oeuvres (yeah I had to copy and paste that... so what) as well as a ton of free gifts and raffles.
However the stars of the evening were Nokia's 2 new entries into the unforgiving competition filled smartphone world.
Now I won't lie I was a bit disappointed when I watched the Keynote. I thought to myself " they're making it even bigger, where the hell is cyan, Why have they gotten rid of the matte finish and I'm not a fan of the new start screen (I like the negative space)". All this was out the door when I actually held the device in my hand. The red Lumia 920 is hands down the most beautiful smartphone device I have ever seen/held It feels right in the hand not too large or heavy and as for the new start screen, combined with Nokia's new Pure Motion display and the new High Gloss Chassis It's almost impossible to tell where the Start Screen's Tiles end and the Hardware begins.
Then there's that Camera, it's absolutely Best In Class but don't take my word for it have a look for your self;
