Apple premium resellers and why we need official Apple representation
Since the new iMacs will be announced in the upcoming weeks I decided to browse on the web to see what the pricing of a new machine with a couple of extra stuff would cost.
To my amazement I stumbled on to this insane pricing for a memory expansion.
Golden i (http://golden-i.gr) is a premium (now I know why they use that word) Apple reseller in Greece. Greece is one of the countries that Apple has no official pressence. Instead what we have is these Apple premium resellers. And I think this is where the problems start.
Look at the attached jpg to see what I mean.
A 579euro price difference can't explained at all. I find it really insulting that companies can give those prices and get away with it.
