Tech, design, photography, arts: a new blog [Shameless self-promotion]
Hi everyone -
Let me introduce myself. I'm Harvest Zhang, a junior at Princeton University majoring in computer science. As you might be able to see, I've been lurking on the Verge since it was "This is my next," and before that on Engadget. This is my first post on The Verge.
There's a fair reason for that. Every time I intended to post in the forums or (gasp!) in a comment thread, I thought - well, I might as well write a full blog post about it.
And so I did. Over the summer I started my blog - www.harvestzhang.com - where I note down my thoughts on technology, UI/UX design, industrial design, photography, and arts/music (I'm also a pianist - www.youtube.com/harvestzhangpiano if you care).
Yeah, this is posted in Apple Core - but that's because there is no general area for stuff like this. I do cover Apple, but also Microsoft and Google and Amazon and everyone else.
So if you'd like, take a look. You might find it entertaining, or thought-provoking, or something. And if you think this is spammy, well - it's only one little post in one little forum on one website. It won't kill you.
Plus, it's people like you who actively read (and participate) in tech blogs like the Verge who might be most interested.
Enjoy!
Best,
Harvest Zhang
