iPod touch or Galaxy Nexus?
Hello citizens of the Verge.
I am trying to decide between buying the new iPod Touch when it comes out or buying an unlocked Galaxy Nexus. I currently own an iPad and a MacBook Pro, so I was thinking of giving Android a try. The Galaxy Nexus seemed like a good option because it's only $350 off contract - only $50 more than a 32gb iPod Touch.
On one hand, if I pay the extra fifty, I get a larger screen, more customization, the openness of Android, and a change after using iOS for 3 years.
On the other hand, if I get the iPod Touch, I get better games, the retina display, access to the apps I've purchased previously, and a better ecosystem.
What do I do?
P.S. I cannot simply get a smartphone. I don't want a data plan at all. Plus, I already have a Verizon dumbphone.
