I took the plunge for Greenlight: Love+ on Steam Greenlight.
I'm sure everyone knows what Greenlight is by now, but here's a primer in case you don't: Steam Greenlight is a program to help independent and smaller game developers publish their games on the Steam service via peer review. Right now they're asking for a $100 fee that goes directly to Child's Play, mainly as a barrier to get idiots to stop posting fake, offensive, and copyright infringing games on Greenlight.
I took the plunge and dropped a hundo on Greenlight to try and get my game Love+ published on Steam.
Now, this is mainly a post to try to get all of you to go and click on that yes button and leave a million nice comments on the page, but to make it worthwhile, I'll be updating this post with notes about what's going on for those of you who are curious about the process.
As of the time of writing this, there's been over 6k unique views on the game's page, 148 favorites, and to quote the painful progress bar you see after clicking yes,
This game has attained 0% of necessary positive ratings so far
If you're interested in the game, hit the link and click yes. If you're not, but you're interested in the process, I'll be happy to keep you all informed.
