Are we all going to be carrying tablet-phones in two years?
From the moment the HD2 launched smartphone screen sizes have been increasing at a steady rate. The Galaxy Note sold millions and its sucessor has a 5.5 inch screen. If 5-6 is phablet, how much larger can they realistically go? I realize this topic comes up often but it's a valid question. Our hands are not getting larger every year and neither are our pockets. Could you realistically carry a 6 inch+ device as your primary phone?
I know the bigger screen makes content more enjoyable but there is a fine line on the practicality factor that is being approached. Every year people draw a line in the sand and say "I'm not buying anything bigger than a 4, 4.3, 4.5, 4.7, 5 etc size screen" but I think my limit is 5. I don't want a tablet in my pocket.
What do you guys think?
