More Play store users now than iTunes users

With Google reporting more than 480 Android devices having access to the market; Google Play is now even bigger than iTunes. Too bad they aren't really generating too much money from it or leveraging it to their advantage.

My suggestions:

• Push Android onto the laptop space with $200 Chromebooks that can run Android apps- this will give them huge access to the education and small business market
• Buy Steam and leverage their brand for gaming
• Hire some competent managers who can close some sweetheart deals with entertainment labels and beat iTunes at their own game
• Give cash prizes to devs who can best take advantage of Android exclusive APIs and use the Play store as a bigger selling point against iOS devices.
