Black bars for non-updated apps

With the launch of the iPhone 5, some apps may not get updated/resized for the screen yet. So what would you prefer? I was thinking user friendliness, would you want black bars at the top and bottom of the screen, or just at the bottom and a larger bar at the top. I've attached a quick mock up, but what do you feel would be better? And what will Apple do to help the regular user.
