Blasphemous: Sticking a sticker over the Apple on a MacBook Air

Has anybody done it? I am considering it because I generally dislike brand names/ logos on my stuff ( I would never buy that tshirt or this jacket) and I'd like a more unique device.

I searched around a little bit and found stickers like these:

But I have a couple of concerns:

• Is the Apple still showing if its glowing beneath the sticker (would probably look weird and defeat the purpose)
• How easy is it to put on sth like that?
• Do you think this will harm the resell value or in other words do you think it can be removed after a while without leaving any traces?

Can anybody who put sth like the above on their MacBook give some advice?
