AT&T UVerse

Let me start by saying i have been a long time TiVo users, using the original TiVo HD up until a few days ago. I used to have Verizon Fios for my cable and Internet provider, in the living room I used the TiVo box with dual cable card, and in the bed room i used the Verizon supplied set top box. I have always enjoyed TiVo and am heavily invested in recording with it. But being the old original TiVo HD, it was getting sluggish to navigate. I recently moved and signed up for AT&T UVerse in my new home. Originally I thought it would be a good time to upgrade to the newest TiVo model; to hopefully combat the sluggish nature my aging box had fallin into, but not right away. Instead, I think I'm going to use the AT&T provided set top box DVR. I am shocked how much I enjoy using it compared to the TiVo (not too shocked about liking it better than the Verizon box, that thing was awful and overly complicated). The AT&T UVerse DVR has a very attractive minimalist UI, and is surprisingly very responsive. I know that a lot of people complain about how awful set top cable boxes and DVRS are, but I can honestly say I am very happy with the AT&T UVerse DVR. Between the slick looking UI, the overall positive performance (so far), and sheer ease of use... I will be saving my $399 and will not upgrade to the latest TiVo, instead... use the AT&T Uverse box. Anyone else used the UVerse DVR? thoughts, comments...
