UK cell plans
Hey guys,
My girlfriend is about to go on an exchange to Scotland and will need a cell phone plan. She's only there for 4-5 months and I gave her my old galaxy nexus so she does not want a contract. Data I'd certainly a must and she would like SMS(unlimited would obviously be best but if 1000+ are included, I'm sure that's fine) but a large number of calling minutes is not necessary. Here in Canada we have international texting plans which allow you to send SMS to other countries without incurring an additional fee. I haven't been able to find anything similar in the UK but if it does exist, she would like that.
The best I've been able to find is the £12.90 plan from Three that includes unlimited data, 5k texts and 200 minutes. I have no idea what Three is like though or if there are better plans on other carriers that I haven't even heard of though. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
