Free My Apps: Getting legitimate free gift cards
Goodmorning Verge forum people! (It's morning in Belgium).
This isn't going to be another s(c/p)amming post. I've recently discovered a service called "Free My Apps". For iOS it's a webapp, but I think there's an app available in the Play Store. What it does on iOS is install a configuration profile on your device (explanation later). You need to collect credits, you can exchange these for gift cards (Amazon, iTunes,...). The more credits you have, the more valuable gift cards you can get. Now, to earn these credits you have to download the apps they're sponsored by, and use them for 30 seconds. This is where the profile comes in, because when you have used the app for 30 seconds, you get the credits linked to that app. When you first open up the service you'll have about 8 possible apps to get credits for.
I tried getting an Amazon gift card and had no trouble rederming it on Amazon.
There is offcourse an other way of getting credits and that is by getting people to sign up using your link. So the choice is yours, you can google it, or follow my link, http://m.freemyapps.com/share/email/3dbc337c, and help me out a bit too. Enjoy!
