If you've seen a piece of furniture in your lifetime, you've probably seen something touched by the iconic design of Charles and Ray Eames. The couple made a number of significant contributions to modern architecture, furniture design, and even to graphic design and film — for instance, the classic Powers of Ten was produced by the Eames, who worked with IBM on the film.
