WiDi Adapter Windows 8
Hey Guys!
Just picked up the Asus Zenbook Prime, specifically the UX31A-DH71, and was wondering if anyone has experience with WiDi. I have been looking into getting a WiDi adapter and am having trouble finding definitive answers on adapters that are compatible with Windows 8. I would like it to be compliant with the new Miracast standard if available. My option appears to be the Netgear PTV3000, but I have seen questionable reviews with Windows 8 compatibility. I thought WiDi wasn't so much OS dependent as it is hardware and driver dependent, and as long as I have those it should work. Any advice would be great.
