Why can't OEM's put touchscreens in Core i3 or Dual core AMD non-ultrabook laptop and sell for <450$

* Most OEM's have non-ultrabook laptops with core i3 or dual core AMD with 4GB RAM selling for around 350-400$ .

*My question is why can't they simply add a touchscreen to all those laptops and sell them for 50-60$ premium over the non touch models.

* Even paying 450$ for those laptops will be lot more productive and more value for money than buying an iPad.

* Core i3 processors are way more powerful than the stupid clovertrail processors and works gr8 even for both metro and desktop.

Hope OEM's bring more models like Asus vivobook and sell them for around 450$ or less. THAT will be the true ipad killer !!!
