Improving on the Low Battery Alert
When you use an iDevice and your battery is below 20%, you get an alert like this:
Those alerts get really annoying when you're watching a video or playing a game. In iOS 5, Apple introduced a new type of notification, a banner that rolled over the top of the screen and dismissed automatically. They do the same job as the alerts that preceded them in notifying the user about something but do not require to be answered immediately. Then why does iOS still use alerts to tell you your battery's low? Why not use banners if they do the same job?
