Starting Out

So i have been a follower of the verge for a while now on Twitter, Facebook and subscribing to all the podcasts (Possibly some of the best around) but lets get back to it. I will be getting a Nikon D5000, I know this is possibly not the best camera around but we all have to start somewhere.

So after looking through the internet i found that some of the best and most hands on information was right here at The Verge. I was just wondering for any help, hints, tips, books Internet sites and videos etc to help me get started with photography and get a basic grasp of it!

I will hopefully get some photographs up in the next month and hope to get feedback on them!
