Apple's iOS devices experienced a time-related bug on New Year's Day that caused the Do Not Disturb feature to fail to disable itself, and in a new support notice, the company writes that the issue will be resolved after January 7th. The issue caused devices using Do Not Disturb on iOS 6 to mute calls and notifications for longer than usual. Apple suggests manually disabling Do Not Disturb in the meantime to fix the problem — but hopefully the company addresses the problem with a permanent solution so it doesn't happen again next year.
