Ubuntu UX
the Ubuntu UX is amazingly designed it shows how design can be beautiful yet functional. The Ubuntu UX within their phones doesn't stray too far from their own platforms of the desktop and TV.
Platform
Though the UX may look nice but, Canonical needs to build an app ecosystem that can compete against the other competitors. They need to improve the amount of OEMs and Publishers even though they have big name partners such as HP and Dell making PCs. They need more such as Samsung, Asus, Acer, and Lenovo to help push Ubuntu further. Ubuntu can be become the next great platform/ecosystem and the new phone OS will allow it to do that.
