If Apple ( and Nvidia ) could somehow fit a laptop version of GTX 690( the most powerful graphics card in the world, currently, within my knowledge) inside the 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display and perhaps GTX 660M inside the 13-inch in the same bodies without any boiling-hot heat dissipation issue and if they put discrete graphics cards in all non-Retina MacBooks... do you think game developers would have paid more attention to Mac game development? The game ecosystem on the Mac is still inferior to PCs....
