Those wacky journalists
An interesting comparison of how the "one million" figure is viewed differently in the press.
"Only one million Surfaces sold in Q4, lol fail"; http://www.computing.co.uk/ctg/news/2236488/microsoft-sells-just-1-million-surface-tablets-in-q4-2012?WT%3B.rss_a=Microsoft+sells+just+1+million+Surface+tablets+in+Q4+2012
"One million LG Optimus G devices sold! OMG well done!" http://www.engadget.com/2013/01/20/lg-optimus-g-sales/#comments
Apparently there are two different one millions, and Microsoft's one is smaller than everyone else's.
Of course MS made all this noise about how Surface would set the world on fire, but the press should know how to report differently on sales that fail to meet internal expectations and those which represent a genuine failure.
