Help me get the notification tray icon removed from Spotify on Windows
Hi. I was wondering if the kind folks at The Verge forums wouldn't mind voting up my "idea" on Spotify's support site to give us an option to remove that annoying icon from the notification tray in Windows. If you use Spotify on Windows, you know what I'm talking about. I think Linux users can remove it, but Windows users cannot. The only option offered in Windows is to hide the taskbar icon, which seems pointless to me (but that's just my opinion).
This isn't a new idea at all, but I'm hoping to get people to help me get it near the top of the list. I'm thinking maybe it's something that bothers people but not enough to search for a way to get rid of it. Or maybe most people don't know about Spotify's suggestion forum.
Anyway, I'm just putting this out there. I can't be the only one who is annoyed by that icon.
