128 GB Surface Pro has 83 GB of free space
According to this article, the 128 GB Surface Pro will only have 83 GB available to its user. The article suggests that 45 GB will be used by the OS and included apps. One thing they fail to mention is that the actual size of a 128 GB SSD is approximately 119 GB. Still, this seems rather high (34 GB) for an OS and apps.
Does anyone have Windows 8 installed on their laptop/pc and if so, how much space does it eat up? I'd assume that since a full version of Windows 8 pro is included with the Surface, that the space used would be similar.
