After reading about "activity trackers" for about a month on an off, I decided to get a Fitbit One. After using it for one day I got my girlfriend one after she got really excited about it after hearing about my first day with mine.

24. 7. Not only does it track your steps, activity level, elevation change, calories burned, and miles moved, it also tracks your sleep quality if you wear it in a wrist band while you sleep (one is included)

The battery life is phenomenal!

The OLED screen is bright and sharp.

Many people in "reviews" claim that the clip (which the unit pops in an out of) is poorly designed. They are too limited to understand that you wear the clip with the fitbit facing into your body so that it cannot pop out of the clip holder... duh... so go ahead and ignore their reviews. Some even gave it a bad review score because they lost it and wanted fitbit to give them another one for free / lol.

The software is easy to use and the web interface is simple but powerful. If you want to start to quantify your-self, your activity level, and or your sleep, the FitBit one is probably your best bet for casual 24. 7. use. If you are an athlete looking to track yourself doing your thing, other products might be a better fit.

Well done Fitbit!
