I trust people on The Verge. They're good people. And that's why I want your opinion.
I'm a Linux newbie; I just bought a new laptop (as a matter of interest, it's a HP Folio 13) and I decided that I'm just tired of Windows. It's not that I don't like it, I just want something different. So, after a lot of searching, I've decided upon PinguyOS. It looks nice, has pre-installed codecs etc. so I don't have to worry about them too much. But I feel like most of the things I've read about it have been industry people and the Pinguy devs themselves talking it up.
So what I want is some real people opinions about it.
I know that there's a high chance that I'll get no replies to this. The Verge's Linux forum is exactly the most active place and Pinguy isn't exactly one of the biggest distros. But I'd at least like to try and find out.
Please, go ahead.
