The MSI Slider S20 was one of the more bizarre Windows 8 designs we saw back at Computex this past summer, and it wasn't clear whether it would ever make it to market. The predicted third-quarter release windows came and went, but now MSI claims it is ready to release the Slider S20 in Q1 of this year — though the company didn't offer any more specificity. We do know how much the Windows 8 slider will cost, however: $1,199.99 will get you an 11.6-inch, 1080p touch-sensitive display, an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 128GB SSD. The 2.2-pound device also includes a 720p webcam, ethernet, and two USB 3.0 ports. MSI will be showing off the product during CES, so we'll soon find out if the hardware has changed at all from the prototype we saw back in June.
