iWatch Concept
I've wasted part of my day today badly photoshopping my concept of an Apple-made Smartwatch. In my mind, this watch connects with an iPhone or cellular iPad over Bluetooth 4.0, acting as a control and extension of the device, displaying useful information or notifications whilst you're on the move.
Design
For the design I took I hybrid of the 6th Generation iPod Nano and the iPad Mini, and gave it a 1.5 inch display. The slits in the back are for customisable straps, and I'm also thinking that the watch would have a lightning connector, and microphones and speakers for Siri.

Interaction

In terms of interacting with the watch, I thought, just like the Magic Trackpad, the display would both be multi-touch and a physical button. With this, you'd have all the benefits of multi-touch, plus the ability to interact with the watch like the earbud remote (press combinations for music controls, holding down for Siri access etc).
Watch Face

Stole the same customisable watch faces from the old Nano...
Strap

Took inspiration from the smart cover for the strap. I thought you could have different coloured polyurethane straps with magnets at each end to connect.
Siri

I have to say that the main attraction for me would be the Siri control (if it worked). Pretty self explanatory, access it through holding down the display.
1st and 3rd Party iOS App Extentions

The watch would also act as a 1.5 inch extension of your favourite iOS apps, showing crucial bits of information whilst your iPhone or iPad were in your bag/pocket.
There's definitely loads more that could be done with this and I massively skipped passed any user interface in the hope of not wasting any more time than I already have... Oh well, the things I do for fun.
