Cheap Smartphone+ Premium Tablet = Perfect Combo?
I mainly need a smartphone to sync my contacts and reminders, receive notifications and have a quick peak at them. The phone doesn't need a high resolution, a large screen size or a lot of processing power. It can be a cheap Android phone or an old iPhone for example.
This is because I find for everything else a tablet is better suited:
- browsing the web
- viewing Word documents and PDF documents
- reading RSS-feeds, read-later apps
- watching videos
- all kinds of apps and games
- ...
It is perfect for the couch, the desk and fits nicely in a bag, backpack or jacket.
