Microsoft and Sprint have both announced that the US carrier will soon stock Windows Phone 8 devices from Samsung and HTC in the Summer. After hinting at availability earlier this week, Sprint's official confirmation doesn't mention the exact devices that the carrier will offer — but with a Summer timeline we'll likely hear more about them at next month's Mobile World Congress.

The announcement completes Windows Phone 8's availability on all four major carriers in the US. Sprint has only ever released one Windows Phone device, the HTC Arrive, back in early 2011 so the new unnamed Samsung and HTC devices are a welcome addition for the company's 4G network.
