4iiii's Viiiiva heart rate monitor works wirelessly with the iPhone
4iiii, a company previously known for its sports-related activity monitoring Sportiiii heads up displays, has announced a new product at CES 2013. Called the Viiiiva, the chest strap is a heart rate monitor which the company describes as "lightweight and comfortable," with support for many popular fitness apps including RunKeeper, Training Peaks, and Runtastic, which will give additional information about speed and activity levels. The Viiiiva syncs via Bluetooth and a proprietary use of ANT+ in real time to your iPhone or iPod, delivering instant feedback. The Viiiiva is the first ANT+ device to sync to iOS devices without an adapter, and will be available "soon" for $79 on 4iiii's website.
