Livestream has just announced an update to its Broadcaster hardware — the new version will hook up to Verizon's LTE network, providing much faster video uploads. That's the main upgrade to the hardware that Livestream announced last April, which can encode and broadcast live video from basically any camera on the market. While the LTE upgrade is the major new feature, it also now has built-in batteries instead of the AA batteries it required before, and there's also a Livestream app that lets you turn your setup on or off. Unfortunately, there's no word on how much the new Broadcaster will cost, but Livestream says it'll be shipping this Spring.
