To Subsidize or not to Subsidize...what say you?
So this is more for the US smart phone buyers, but what do you think about US carriers moving to a subsidy free model? T-Mobile is going to do it this year, if they haven't already and VZW and ATT are watching it closely as reported by Android Central.
I welcome a subsidy free model as I can't stand contracts, and won't mind paying for the phone in monthly installments.
I think it well work well, where you can pay like $100/$200/$300 down and choose a 1 year payment plan or 2 year payment plan depending on your budget. In addition any extra amount paid to your account automatically goes to paying down the phone balance.
Anyway what do you all think
