If you use an iPad with a keyboard, you're doing it wrong
Okay sorry for the baiting title, but just wondering, in a more civil tone - how do you guys justify it when the asus transformer book t100 exists? (Or rather, how would you guys justify it? It's coming out in a week)
Asus Transformer bookt100:
350$ for full windows 8.1, 11 hours battery, 32GB, new intel baytrail chip. Comes with detachable keyboard included in 350$ price tag. Hands on impressions for the most part said that screen, build quality were all surprisingly good. Not iPad level, but definitely not a steaming pile of net-book level crap you'd expect from a 350$ computer.
(I'm also making an assumption that there will be other OEM options with similar offerings and prices, just given how competition works.)
And for the record, I think the iPad is a quality product. But if you're using a keyboard with it for productivity (note taking, essay writing, web surfing), how would you justify it when a product like the t100 is half the price, and has a full computer operating system? It has growing # of apps, and makes up for the lack of apps with x86 programs that can offer twice as much as any # of applications in the iOS or Android marketplace. So what do you all think? Let's be open minded and civil
