The reason why Android will never get Blockbuster apps first
A study of more than 200 billion ads on Facebook says that mobile ads on iPhone generate 1,790 percent more return on investment than ads on Android. Even worse, advertising on Android actually costs more than it returns.
I don't think Android users are cheap but it definitely seems like the wealthier and more lucrative demographics are going iOS. It also seems like Tim Cook is right and the usage is just higher for iOS than Android. I feel like a lot of Android phones are being sold just because people needed a new phone and didn't necessarily need a smartphone. Those people are just making phone calls and checking emails which hurts ad agencies.
