We Still Can't Search for Content in Windows 8, and Drag It.

I love Windows 8, but a year later, we still can't search for content and drag it somewhere. Does this missing functionality frustrate anyone else? I'm a huge multitask-er and a big fan of being able to drag applications or files into windows and what not. For instance, ever since Windows XP (Maybe earlier as well) we were able to pull up search, type something and then drag whatever we'd like into a window, desktop, or taskbar. This functionality is missing in Windows 8 and Microsoft's lack of coherence is troubling. I would like it if they fixed this quick. The whole point of Windows 8 is to converge small portable devices and desktop computing and they're not the only ones who will obtain this kind of OS. Ubuntu Touch is able to do this.

UPDATE: I found this perfect example online, which just so happens to be the main reason I use it, Photoshop.
