Scumbag Samsung cheating on benchmarks

So I went onto Ars Technica to read this article on how Samsung's new Galaxy Note 3 uses a special benchmark boosting mode to increase the benchmark scores 20-50% over the similarly specced LG G2.

This special mode locks the phone's processor to the clock ceiling of 2.3 GHz. It neither allows the scheduler to take some of the cores offline nor allows the phone to idle.
