I'm thinking about buying the Moto X. A few Questions...
So I went to the AT&T store the other day to unsuccessfully buy the 5s and was pleasantly surprised by the moto x. As most of you already know, they have somehow managed to fit a fairly big screen into a very small piece of hardware. I actually compared it to my iPhone 5, which has a case on it, and was surprised to see how close in size they are. Heard a lot gripes about the screen, especially from the verge staff, but to me it looks far better than anything Samsung puts out. That's not saying much, but it's definitely more than enough and not nearly as bad as some have made it out to be.
I've been looking for a reason to switch to Android for a long time and it looks like the moto x fits the bill. However, I have a few questions before I make any type of purchase:
- Is the battery life going to be better than the iPhone 5? And I'm not talking about with the wifi off, screen brightness low and all that crap people say to improve battery life. What is the battery life with majority of things on that you'll need throughout the day?
- How durable is the phone? I hate that fact that I have to keep my iPhone 5 in a case. It takes away the whole aesthetic of the phone.
- Should I hold out for the Nexus 5? I don't think the nexus 5 will have the voice features or the same small hardware/large screen. Are there any features in the Nexus 5 worth waiting for? How long do you think it will take the moto x to receive kit kay(AT&T)?
