I'm coming from an iPad and so far I'm loving the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition). The display is bright, sharp and vivid, producing an excellent color palette. Unlike David's review, I have not noticed any significant performance issues or lag. This tablet is a multi-taskers dream, and the CPU seems to keep up.
Probably my only complaint would be the recharge time. Battery life is comparable to an iPad but it takes much longer to recharge. I wish they would have equipped this tablet with USB 3, like the Note 3 phone. I also really have no complaints with TouchWiz (I've never understood the big deal with TouchWiz). Personally, I use Apex Launcher but TouchWiz provides some really cool software features you wouldn't get with a Nexus device (ie: Multi Window, layered windows, dual camera photos, S Pen features).

- Design (the faux leather a great improvement)
- Light and thing
- Great display (best Android tablet display to date)
- Battery life (comparable to iPad)
- Overall performance (I never had the lag issues David mentions)
- Multitasking and S Pen features exclusive to the Galaxy Note line
- Dual stereo speakers (with they were front facing but they sound loud and full)
- Bundled software (Sketchbook Pro, Bloomberg Businessweek)

- Viewing angles could be better
- Slow recharge time (would have been better with USB3
- Rear camera (I literally never used my iPad's camera so I really don't care about tablet camera performance, but if you do, its not so great)
