Hearthstone Beta -- anyone else playing?

I got my beta key in the last round of invites, and have been playing it for the past 4-5 days.

For those of you that don't like games like Magic The Gathering or others like it, I would actually suggest that you give this one a chance. I never really had any interest in TCG/CCGs, and I wasn't at all interested when I heard Blizzard was releasing one, but this one is much more accessible and has a lot of interesting things going for it. The base of the game play is extremely simple and easy to learn (especially compared to something like Magic), which is something new for the genre, I think.

It's definitely a case of easy to learn but very hard to master. There's room for some very clever plays, and a small mistake early on can cost you the game very quickly. A lot of people have been quick to say that it's too dumbed down and and easy, but as you start to win more games, you'll quickly see that there is a great amount of skill to it.

For those who haven't checked out Hearthstone yet, I would suggest checking out TotalBiscuit's first impressions of it (below). A lot of people don't like him for some reason, but he does a really great rundown of the game.

So is anyone else in the beta and maybe want to go a few rounds? :)

PS: I've been playing it a lot on my N7 using the Splashtop HD remote desktop app. It works perfectly with Hearthstone, which, as it turns out, is a great game to play in bed and is perfectly suited for touch input.
