Anyone else wonder...

If the reason Apply went to a 64-bit architecture with the A7 is to allow them to slow down on hardware iterations? For instance, the performance of this chip has been much better than many expected; many developers are reporting vast increases in prowess. Is the marketplace such that Apple could get away with not introducing an A-series chip for 18 or even 24 months without sacrificing ground? I tend to think that we won't see the iPhone 6 before January 2015, and perhaps not until June 2015.

What say you?
