Microsoft Commercials " Set Up For Failure" ?
These day commercials are initiative and and creative. Commercials attract and sell, Commercials are every where. In some ways commercials define a company. And the question is, is Microsoft making the image they want? Lets review a couple of the commercials form this year and last year and compare them.
Saying that there is this whole tablet war going on, Tablets seem like a good place to start -
Original Surface Pro / RT -
There is really nothing wrong with this Ad, I mean it is catchy and just simply cool.But the one problem is the sales dont reflect the commercial and name. what they did right was the created a name. I mean you can pretty much can go anywhere in america and once you click in that Touch Cover everyone knows it is a Surface.

Lets See how Apple stacks up.
I personally prefer the surface commercial but, Apple already had its name at the time of this video. Apple was just showing off some apps.

Lets move on to gaming (Xbox One) -
Microsoft has unveiled an imaginative new commercial showing off some key features of the console. The "Invitation" commercial immerses viewers in the world of Xbox One. The commercial is simply interesting it gets us to go out and learn more about this system. I mean it makes me want to watch it again!

Now lets see PlayStations presentation
Official PlayStation 4 Perfect Day Commercial. Not bad, I mean it goes back to that scheme were people love explosions and big ones. There much action, but I think Xbox Takes this one here.

LETS GET TO THE GOOD STUFF Windows 8.1
This commercial is not that bad is is very pleasing to the Eye. I mean they show the product, but not in all of its glory. I mean like most of us wanted a start bottom but then never showed the desktop. How could Microsoft leave out such a fundamental thing. Other then that this is a Cool AD.

Now Its time to make a full circle to back where we started ( Surface 2 ) -
"Surface Frames" The prodigal tablet returns for a second run and stronger then ever the Surface 2/ Pro 2. I mean Microsoft has the name and now they are sowing the need. ( This Is The Most Productive Tablet On Earth). And this commercial shows it. Plain and simple.
Apples Come Back -
"Apple - iPad Air - TV Ad - Pencil" This is a cool AD and shows the glory of the I Pad. The thinness and the name. But is it enough to sell it?
