Question About RAM
Pardon my ignorance, but I appreciate any insight you can share about the following.
I own a late-2010 MacBook Air which, overall, is a fantastic computer. The one gripe that I've had with it is that it's not fast enough to power numerous Chrome tabs (~10-12 tabs; I read a lot). In addition, when watching 1080p HD YouTube videos the video will not catch up with the audio, even if that part of the video has "loaded".
All in all, these are first world problems, but when I purchase the next computer, should I be looking for 4GB of RAM or 8GB? Honestly, guys, I live in the browser and do a bit in iTunes and iPhoto. That's it.
If I could find a computer that works flawlessly with a bunch of tabs open and YouTube videos, then I'd be swimming in a sea of perfection. Just want to get to the bottom about RAM and whether 4GB will cut it. Or should I be focusing in on processor speed, instead? Many thanks.
