Calling all Nexus fans/owners

Lately, it seems as if the Nexus 5 has taken the (tech) world by storm. A phone with a 1080p LCD screen, a screaming fast Qualcomm Snapdragon S800 chip AND it's incredibly thin? Sign me up, right....?

Here's my question to you, the reader. If the Nexus 5 had been priced comparatively with other flagship devices (Samsung S4, LG G2, Sony Xperia Z1, iPhone 5S), would you still buy it? You see, I see all these posters on here swearing by the Nexus line of products, claiming Vanilla Android is all great and such, so my curiosity had been struck. Would they be willing to buy it? Off contract? With a 2 year contract at $200 maybe? Is stock Android still worth it? Or would you pick one of the other flagship devices?

Personally, as a Nexus 7 2013 owner, I wouldn't even consider it if not for the cheap price. Wouldn't even look at it to be honest. To me, it almost seems like stock Android isn't worth it unless it's cheap.

Thanks for reading this kind of weird and awkwardly written post.
