Risk - The Improved Edition

Hello little ones!

I was playing Risk with some friends the other night and happen to come across an idea. What if there was a version of the game where not only war powers and city values were concerned, but all other factors of occupation as well. For instance, you may want to take a country because you need to have oil to fuel your armies, or because it provides more food for troops.

Now you may argue that this ruins the simplicity and strategy of a classic game, but I really don't care. I just want to make a game that I think is truly great. So, here's where I ask the questions:

1. Does such a game already exist to save me a lot of work?

2. What individual factors would you like to see considered if such a game were created? I'm looking for as many as possible. I promise if this step is taken I will post pictures of it when it is finished.
