Cheaper Mac Pro
I really do love the new Mac Pro. It's a great workstation PC. However the problem with the Mac Pro is exactly that: a workstation PC. That means it's expensive and impractical for anyone but the most professional of Pros to own. I would absolutely love to see Apple come out with a cheaper Mac Pro for the "enthusiast" market. Something in the $1,500 price range that is well equipped for hobbyist editors, gamers and other enthusiasts. Given the huge amount of enthusiasts in the market (just look at YouTube), this would probably sell far better than the Mac Pro.
Right now the closest thing Apple has to satisfy this segment of the market is the iMac. But the iMac wouldn't be nearly as powerful or flexible as a $1,500 Mac Pro.
I'm really hoping that the Mac Pro will follow in the footsteps of the 15" MacBook Pro with Retina Display. Initially it was a very expressive but powerful PC that only the pros could afford. Within a few moths Apple introduced the 13" MacBook Pro with Retina Display, which was still rather expensive but much cheaper than the 15 MacBook Pro. A few months later Apple slashed the price of the 15" and 13" MacBook Pro with Retina Display while also making them a little less powerful so that they'd be accessible to the non pro market.
