Bravo to The Verge, I'm serious...

No Bra!!!

I have to say that I am pleased with the Verge not carrying the "Bra" story that everyone and their mothers radio station is covering. I have heard so much mis-information on it already that it just shows you how stupid people can be. The fact that The Verge did not carry an article (that I know of at least, and is not on the front page) makes me now think there is some editing going on. Kudos.

With that said, the fact that it came up on the radio on my way to work in the morning was just stupid. It was a research project that MS put some time to look into as a wearables project. Women ALWAYS wear bra's (at least most do). It seems to match up to the idea that MS has that people will start to have more and more sensors on them in the future. A Bra (or the underwear for men) was a decent way to try to implement physiological sensors of some sort conjsidering most people wear them. The punchline of the jokes regarding battery life is pretty stupid considering it was never a market ready product and probably never optimized properly. Again though, Bravo for not carrying the stupid story... Now don't say that you did a while ago and that I missed it and that you are that stupid...
