How is Alfred more useful than Spotlight?
Ever since I've bought a retina MacBook Pro, I kept hearing about Alfred being the best app ever, one which many people cannot leave without. Naturally, I was curious about this Alfred app and gave the free version a go. Unfortunately, I can't find a use case where it is more useful than the Spotlight. Of course, there are some functions that I find them cool such as the calculator and dictionary function, but there are pointless ones like "sleep" when I can just press the sleep button once or simply close the lid. I know that there are a few really great features for the paid tier such as the clipboard management, but I'm not sure if it is worth the money.
I really want to appreciate Alfred. So, my question is, what are the features of Alfred that made you like it so much or made you can't live without it?
