OS X Widgets Recommendations

Widgets seem a little bit like the unloved black sheep in the OS X family - do you use them and if yes - do you have any recommendations?

I use "wetter", a German weather widget which pulls data from wetter.com (I find it more accurate than the preinstalled one), "Modern Moments" to display a picture of my choosing (actually the symbol keyboard layout if you press alt) and the default notepad for unimportant notes.

I aligned them on the right side so I can peek.
