Microsoft misleading again? Only a handful of Surface Pro's in stores

Why does Microsoft keep being misleading over and over again? Unless they really expect to sell a few dozens of them only? Perhaps, but this seems like the most obvious plot to say they "sold out" to me that I've ever seen:
